Senela Organics is a family owned and operated skin care brand in Uganda.
After a long and futile quest to treat her children’s eczema prone skin, our founder got to her kitchen and whipped up a body butter that put her quest to rest. Senela is an acronym of our founder’s 3 children who are the real inspiration behind the skincare products.
The brand was inspired by the desire to have handcrafted, natural but luxurious skin products made from minimal natural ingredients from the land and plant-based formulas that are gentle enough to be used on the youngest family members with sensitive skin as well as the whole household.
The line consists of carefully hand crafted, tried and tested products made from 100% raw Nilotica Shea butter blended with natural essential oils to maintain and seal in natural moisture and well as heal protect and nourish skin.
The brand works intimately with Communities of Shea growers in Northern Uganda to empower the women of the region to grow economically.
